christmas break was a dream. after larry finished his semester at uvu and was free from work for the holidays, we had him to ourselves for 12 whole days. dash is still mourning the loss of no longer having daddy with us all day, everyday. i am too. we saw two movies in the theater (that's a big deal these days!), went to a few weddings, ate a hundred meals out, and visited with family and friends. dash met santa, learned how to put the ball into his basketball hoop, learned to point out his eyes, nose, mouth, forehead, belly, ears, and toes, and to lay down on command. basically he drops to the ground whenever i tell him to lay down, which has proved to be a little hazardous. he loves to give high five's and claps for himself when he does something he thinks is good. he cracks us up, and wears us out all day long.
here are some pictures from our break, and to be honest they're mostly just of dash…
16 1/2 week little man
dash seeing santa for the first time
binky and remote, always.
this was the sweetest santa. dash didn't like him one bit. he did get a chocolate see's sucker after and did like that part.
bedhead selfie
we tried to take a picture of dash with a blue balloon for his baby brother, but it was too hard to get them both in the same picture
checking out what santa brought for him
he was so happy about it
trains!
dash is the sweetest. he has the best disposition. this picture captures him perfectly. i love it.
a LA hat just his size! he's obsessed with his dad's hats. now they can match.
dash and dad played all day, everyday. they're best buds. dash says "daddy" and "da"
hat weather!
new favorite way to travel
his eyes are an unreal color.
i'm the luckiest with these handsome boys.
we went to ryan and janelle lucero's wedding reception. it was really fun to see the lucero family. we love when they come to town.
